Fronde Baliste - Opportunity Identification: (click the catapult to navigate)
“Design thinking” and “open innovation” describe innovation management disciplines currently under development at Stanford’s d school, and U.C Berkeley’s Institute of Management, Innovation & Organization. These disciplines emphasize leveraging\intersecting the best existing work in a given area to jumpstart thinking for future efforts.
The goal in adopting this “design - innovation – intersections” approach to opportunity identification is to achieve rapid market entry for new concepts, while reinforcing and building ties to existing efforts. Doing so creates a network effect that catalyzes organic - sustainable growth (excerpt from Fronde Baliste Concept Outline Template)
