Fronde Baliste - About this website:(click the catapult to navigate)
Fronde is the working site of a fellowship project aimed at establishing a creative economics platform for venture investing. The site is continually under construction. The frame is set, sheet rock added, and painting constant. It is a work in progress - an open lab for presenting foundational concepts, research and initial ventures. This body of research will shape the strategy of two social innovation investment funds.
The hypothesis for the research: change in structure of firms, change in definition of economic measures, change in channels of access to capital, and change in targets of investment, are prerequisite to any attempt to create a sustainable "new economy."
Navigating the website: There are four main sections featuring approaches to innovation in the areas converging to drive development of a new economy at a structural level. The innovation sections are: Capacity, Capital, Creativity, and Collaboration. Find and click the trademark image on each page to navigate a creative path through the site. Why Fronde Baliste? (The image at the top of each page is a reminder, the site is agile architecture, up in a holding pattern, subject to change on an ongoing basis).
the trademark image is a reproduction of an early han dynasty catapult made of sticks and leather. circa 200 bc.
